The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed in regards to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme sassa status [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area each day. The company stage made for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to allow the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
